DEBBIE HILL, MFT, ABD

      Ms. Debbie and her two children have been with Choice Martial Arts for several years. Ms. Debbie works with many special needs students. Coordination, self-defense, balance, control, and exercise are just some of the focus of the private classes offered to individuals with specific concerns. Ms. Debbie also provides private lessons for adults that want to get in shape through cardio and light contact sparring and grappling. Lastly, Ms. Debbie and  Mr. Josh work together to provide continuing community education to individuals, families, and school districts. Topics include teamwork; self-defense; leadership; bullying; and community advocacy.

      Ms. Debbie blends her martial arts experience with her professional background. Ms. Debbie received her BA and special education teaching certification from Rowan University.  After teaching for several years, she began her graduate work at MCP Hahnemann University.  In 2002,  Ms. Debbie received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Ms. Debbie has experience with individual, couple and family development.  Ms. Debbie is currently a 5th year doctoral student in Drexel University's Couple and Family Therapy Program.  She is currently ABD (all but dissertation). Ms. Debbie has presented seminars and workshops for school districts and mental health agencies throughout the state of NJ.  In addition to operating her business, Embracing Family, a relationship education resource center, Ms. Debbie is also an adjunct sociology professor at Camden County College, Gloucester County College, Rowan University, and St. Joseph’s University.  Debbie is the former talk show host of Keeping It Real In Relationship With Debbie Hill on WNJC 1360.
