Next time you are in the gym think to yourself, "Am I just going through the motions?", or are you pushing yourself closer to your goals? This is not just true for sports, fighting, and the gym, but also for many aspects of life.

If you didn't get to see it, Dave Bautista from the WWE made his MMA debut. He is no Brock Lesnar, but he has been training with the Gracies' and did manage to win his first bout.

Here is a video of some Gracies fighting a karate team back in 1975. Gracie Jiu Jitsu was very effective against people who were not familiar with their style of grappling and submission holds, yet. They demonstrate how easily they handled their opponents in this video.

In boxing news this weekend, Roy Jones Jr. gets knocked out yet again. This time at the hands of Denis Lebedev, with only 12 seconds remaining in the tenth and final round. The referee did a poor job of stopping the action, and let Jones take one punch too many. This was the result...

And Bernard Hopkins became the oldest Champion ever, at 46, beating George Foreman's previous record of 45 years old. He outboxed and outclassed Jean Pascal, who is 19 years younger. At one point, he was even doing pushups before the round to further discourage the younger fighter.
