I have been going to the boxing and cardio classes 3x a week now for the past 2 months. I joined to get back into shape and work on boxing skills, both of which I am accomplishing. The workouts are great, the environment is fun and the teachers are very helpful and patient. It has been kicking my @$%, but it is well worth the results so far.

My son started taking Mixed Martial Arts classes with Mr. Josh at the age of 3. He remained in the class until we moved out of state. At the time my son was 5 years old and was in the process of working on his Green belt. My son was initially a very quiet and timid child. He was also the smallest child in the class. Over time, my son grew in confidence and transitioned to the next class. The size difference was even more dramatic in the higher level class and some children were much taller. Mr. Josh often told my son that his expectations were based on my son's belt level (not his size). Mr. Josh has a unique ability to push the children to their potential and I would recommend this academy to any parent.

I started the cardio workout with Chris back in Mar 2012. I was apprehensive at first since I have bad knees. However Chris tailored the program to accommodate my needs. Since then I have seen positive results. My energy level is up. I have lost 10 lbs in 3 months and I have lost almost 2 inches of my waist. I regularly exercise 2-3 times a week. I have received a lot of positive comments from my friends. So much so, Anita (my wife) also joined the exclusive program for women. We are now working towards our goals. I want to lose another 5 lbs in the next couple of months. All in all it has been a very positive experience!

I first started taking Boot Camp classes with Chris in October 2011. The workouts are personalized, fun, and sure to make you work up a great sweat. I have attended the gym regularly for several years but adding Boot Camp to my workout routine has allowed me to see positive results physically. I take 2-3 classes a week depending on what my schedule allows and would take more if I could. Chris takes extra time to focus on my diet as well as my problem areas.
As of December 2011 I lost 5lbs, decreased my body fat percentage by 1.4%, decreased my mile time by just short of a minute, and am physically leaner. Boot Camp has allowed me to get over the ââ¬Åhumpââ¬Â and continue to become a leaner, more toned, healthy individual.

I've been taking bootcamp/kickboxing for about 6 months and have dropped 10 pounds. The classes keep me energized and fit. The strength training alone has helped me build up from barely being able to doing a push up, to a "girl" or modified push up, to a "real" push up. i call that success!

I truly believe that CHOICE is by far one of the best fighting schools in south jersey. The teachers there are extremely experienced and talented. I think that one of the best things about CHOICE is how patient the teachers are. When I 1st went in, I couldn't even stand in a fighting stance properly, but with very little time, and lots of patience, I can now hold my ground very well. The teachers there pay a lot of attention to you and always make sure you are performing each move the right way. I would definitely recommend CHOICE MARTIAL ARTS to anyone interested in either competing, learning self defense, or just plainly want to get in shape. Just come in with a good attitude and will to learn! The prices are awesome as well! And you get a hassle free trial week. No one pressures you into joining after your trial week.

We have known Mr. Josh for over 10 years and always enjoy the opportunity to train with him. We are proud of the accomplishments that he has done in the field martial arts. Choice Martial Arts Academy is a fine example of a well run program. If martial arts were easy every one would be doing them. Train hard and get to class often!

Before joining, I couldn't defend myself if my life counted on it. One week into joining, I had 4X more confidence in defending myself. Highly recommended gym! The nice and patient trainers make you feel at ease when learning new techniques.

I've been at Choice for about 2 and a half years now and would reccomend it to anyone interested in learning martial arts. It is cheaper than most gyms around here and theres classses everyday. When I joined I had no experience with any martial arts but that wasn't a problem, the teachers worked with me until I could hold my own in class. The teachers are firm but not too harsh or mean. If you want to be a fighter or just get in shape I highly reccomend Choice.

This gym was recommended to us from a family friend that trains/instructs at Choice Martial Arts. The membership fee with the amount of classes available meets any budget and schedule. My daughter has attended Mr.Josh's classes for over a year now and plans on earning her black belt some time in the future. She looks forward to attending class and has learned lessons not only for the gym but things she can apply to her daily life as well. As a parent I highly recommend Mr.Josh & Choice Martial Arts.

We took a lot of time researching different studios and couldn't be happier. Mr. Josh is tough on his students, and every belt is truly earned! Our son has bennifitted in many ways. He has learned patience, tolerance as well as how to defend himself. Lessons that are sure to follow him through out his life. It is not Always easy to watch as a parent, but Josh's style is "no nonsense" and can be a bit militant at times, but the kids redone well and learn pride as they earn their way up the ranks.
